What We Help With

Therapy may support people experiencing any of the following. This list is not a diagnosis or a guarantee of eligibility — an initial conversation helps us find the right fit.

Trauma

Trauma can affect emotions, beliefs, relationships, behavior, concentration, sleep, and physical responses. Recovery is personal and may involve safety, supportive relationships, coping skills, processing, meaning-making, and access to appropriate care.

Anxiety

Anxiety can involve persistent worry, fear, nervousness, restlessness, physical activation, or difficulty controlling anxious thoughts. Occasional anxiety is part of life, but anxiety that is intense, persistent, or disruptive may benefit from professional support.

Depression

Depression can involve persistent sadness, emptiness, hopelessness, reduced interest, changes in sleep or appetite, low energy, difficulty concentrating, or other changes in functioning. A qualified professional can help assess symptoms and discuss treatment options.

PTSD

PTSD can develop after a traumatic event, when unwanted memories, avoidance, watchfulness, or difficult mood and sleep continue to interfere with daily life. Therapy can help build present-day safety and coping, reduce avoidance, and work through traumatic memories at a pace that fits.

ADHD

ADHD involves lasting patterns of inattention, restlessness, or impulsivity that can affect school, work, routines and relationships. Therapy can help build practical systems for organization and follow-through, and replace shame with a more accurate, compassionate understanding.

Grief

Grief is a natural response to loss and doesn't follow one timetable or a required set of stages. Therapy can offer a supportive space for memories and emotions, and help you carry love and loss while re-engaging with daily life.

Life Transitions

Expected milestones and unexpected changes alike can outpace the resources on hand, even when the change is a welcome one. Therapy can help name what's changing, clarify next steps, and build coping strategies for uncertainty.

Women's Issues

Concerns shaped by relationships, caregiving, work, culture, body image, reproductive experience and life stage are diverse, and each person defines what's relevant to them. Therapy offers a respectful space to explore these concerns without stereotypes.

Men's Issues

Cultural messages about toughness can make stress, grief, anger or relationship strain harder to name. Therapy offers a practical, respectful space to build language for internal experience and translate insight into everyday change.

Domestic Violence Support

Abuse is the responsibility of the person using it, never the survivor. Support is trauma-informed and guided by your choices and safety, and can include a confidential space, safety planning, and coordinated referrals with your consent.

How We Work

Care begins with listening, and moves at a pace that fits you.

  1. 1
    Connect and understand

We learn about your concerns, history, culture, strengths and goals.

  2. 2
    Build a shared plan

You and your clinician choose an approach that fits you and define real progress.

  3. 3
    Strengthen safety and skills

Trust, stabilization and coping come first, at a pace you help set.

  4. 4
    Work through what's underneath

Therapy addresses the patterns and experiences keeping a problem active.

  5. 5
    Practice in daily life

Insight becomes useful when it's practiced between sessions.

  6. 6
    Review and grow

We regularly revisit what's working and what should change.
